Members of First Baptist Church bring non-perishable food items during the month with an emphasis on the last Sunday of each month. Items collected are shared between the Delavan Methodist Church and Darien Methodist Church food pantries.

The ladies of First Baptist meet socially each month. During these meetings, they discuss upcoming missions to support and they prepare tray favors for nursing homes in the area.
