One of our missions is to participate in the Blessings In A Backpack  program of the Delavan-Darien school district which mobilizes local churches to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across Delavan and Darien who might otherwise go hungry .  The Blessings in a Backpack program continues in 2024 thanks to the generosity of 7 local churches, and bags are packed at First Baptist Church on Wednesdays at 9:00 am.  First Baptist Church will be packing on March 13 and March 20 and again in May.  It is exciting for FBC to be able to support our community in this way.
