Our Loose Coin Offering
Jan/Feb loose coin offering will go to Twin Oaks Homeless Shelter mission project.
….. Food in a Backpack will be January 26th at 1:30 at Turtle Creek
…..the homeless shelter will be hosted in our church March 4-10 and
…..March/April loose coins will go to the Agape House. Watch for more information on collecting hygiene items and a spring visit to this ministry.
Inspiration Ministries Christmas Gifts
A big thank you to all who provided a Christmas gift to residents of Inspiration Ministries. Their Christmas was made brighter by your generosity!
Retired Ministers & Missionaries Offering in December
RMMO exists to alleviate the stress and hardship of unexpected expenses. Your generosity makes this possible and is an example of the thankfulness that flows from our abiding faith in God. We received $528 exceeding our goal of $450!
ABW meetings for February 12th, and March 12th will be held at Parkside beginning at 9:30 am.
Ecumenical Lenten Lunches
Lenten lunches will be hosted by the Delavan United Methodist Church starting on Ash Wednesday, February 14th. Our church will lead on Wednesday February 28th and provide soup, bread, cookies and the message.
A Child Protection Policy has been voted on and approved by the congregation. It took effect on January 1st 2018. For the safety of our children and our church, two volunteers are needed each Sunday to staff our nursery. Please let Rocky know if you are willing to be a secondary volunteer support person.
Table of Sharing
Share something out of your abundance on the Table of Sharing in the fellowship hall. There is a donation box on the table for items that you choose to take which will go to support our mission projects!
TODAY-Annual Meeting Part 2
The Annual Congregational Meeting Part 2 will take place today following the January potluck/lunch. Please plan to attend! Each person’s presence is valued!!
Food in a Backpack
Our next food packing is January 26th at Turtle Creek. Food packing takes place at 1:30 pm.
Missions Project- THIS WEEK!
Our church will be doing a mission project at Twin Oaks Homeless Shelter on January 25th-27th. This project is a great opportunity to be able to serve our community with a “mission trip” and be able to sleep in your own bed at night! Sign-up sheets are on the mission bulletin board in the fellowship hall.
