Our Loose Coin Offering
Nov/Dec loose coin offering will go to “idontknow (where to be)” ministry to youth in Delavan.

…..Organ bellow work is complete! Hallelujah! Thanks to our organ fund and the work of Larry Marowsky and assistant John!
….. Sept/Oct loose coin offering of $210.94 went to Rainbow Acres.

Helpers in Harmony
A big thank you to all who helped in making Helpers in Harmony such a big success! A special thanks to Loyce for all her planning to Greg for hosting and to Brenda, Barb and Jeannie for helping to organize the reception that followed the concert.

Bible Study
The morning bible study is studying the book of Genesis on Wednesdays, 9:30-11:00 am in the church parlor.

Harvest/Holiday Table
Share something out of the abundance of your holiday preparations on the Harvest/Holiday Table in the fellowship hall. There is a donation box on the table for items that you choose to take!

Food Pantry
The Darien food pantry is in need of soups (chicken, mushroom, tomato and vegetable), cereal of any kind and laundry detergent. The November donation will go to the Delavan Food Pantry.

Christmas Shoeboxes
A big thank you to the ABW women for your hard work packing Christmas shoeboxes. Donations are still being accepted to help cover postage. Use envelopes in the pews and mark as Shoebox Postage!

Food in a Backpack
Thank you to all our volunteers who packed backpacks at Wileman and Turtle Creek Elementary schools. Our next dates are at both schools on January 19th and 26th.

Retired Ministers & Missionaries Offering
RMMO exists to alleviate the stress and hardship of unexpected expenses. Your generosity makes this possible and is an example of the thankfulness that flows from our abiding faith in God.

Christmas Decorating
Following worship on November 26th the decorating committee would appreciate help hauling the Christmas Decorations up from the basement. Decorating will take place on Tuesday, November 28th at 9:00 am. Join us for a time of fellowship and making our church festive for the holidays! Hot chocolate will be served.

Spirit of Hope Homeless Shelter
The homeless shelter is gearing up for the coming year. Thanks to Patti Arntz for continuing to serve as our church coordinator. Our church will host the shelter Nov. 26-Dec 2, March 4-10, and April 8-14. See sign-up sheets for staying overnight and providing food.

Nursery Volunteers
A Child Protection Policy has been voted on and approved by the congregation on October 15th. It will take effect on January 1st 2018.
For the safety of our children and our church, two volunteers will be needed each Sunday to staff our nursery. Please let Rocky know if you are willing to be a secondary volunteer support person.

Advent Chapel and Luncheon
Advent Chapel and Luncheon will be held on December 6th, 13th and 20th at 12:00 noon. A sign-up sheet is posted in fellowship hall to provide soup or sandwiches. The offering taken will go toward the Rebuilding, Restoring, and Renewing Puerto Rico initiative. This offering will work with our American Baptist partners to restore all 114 Baptist churches in the Puerto Rico region.

Bell Ringing for Salvation Army
Our church will be ring the bell for the Salvation Army on Saturday, December 2nd, and again on Friday, December 15th. We are at Shopko. A sign-up sheet is posted in the fellowship hall for everyone to sign-up!

Children’s Christmas Program
The children will be presented their Christmas program on December 10th during worship. They are getting excited to present the message of the birth of Jesus! Mark your calendars!
