About Our Staff

Pastor Betsy Perkins recently accepted the call to serve as Pastor and joined the church in September 2016. Betsy came from Arizona where she served as chaplain and nurse at Rainbow Acres, a ministry of providing homes with heart for adults with developmental disabilities. Prior to that Betsy and her husband, David, served as missionaries with International Ministries in India. She is excited to get to know the community and to discover the ways in which God is at work through First Baptist Church of Delavan.

Administrative Assistant Dar is a retired HR specialist who currently volunteers her time in the church office on Wednesday mornings. Dar is a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoys being active in the community, teaching Sunday school, singing in choir, stamping and note-booking.

Administrative Assistant Rox is a retired math teacher who currently volunteers her time in the church office on Tuesday mornings. Rox is a wife, and mother of three daughters. Rox enjoys traveling, teaching Sunday school, shopping and being active in her church and community. Rox is currently on the school board in Delavan.

Administrative Assistant Jeannie currently is employed as an office administrator in a local non-profit in the community. In her spare time she enjoys working in the church office on Monday evenings. Jeannie also loves singing in choir, volunteering on church committees, traveling and hanging out with her extended family.

Organist/Pianist Nancy is a retired school teacher who plays the church organ and piano for worship on Sunday mornings. Nancy is a wife, mother and grandmother. She is a gifted singer and song writer and loves to volunteer her time serving in local non-profit agencies.

Pianist Lisa is a music teacher with the Beloit Public Schools. She is a wife and mother. Lisa plays piano and guitar for worship on Sunday mornings and is the leader for our church Praise Team. Lisa is a gifted singer, musician and song writer. Lisa also is the choir director for the church.
